If people do not want their stuff, they have a flea market or take the box and to the business or goodwill store Hello Army. My grandmother’s jewelry box one of my favorite sources for vintage jewelry. The woman raises no jewelry, even if it is not worn in three decades. And there is always more than willing to donate to me, because nobody else in the family in their interest. Their loss, there is some incredible stuff in there. If your grandmother is a bit of jewelry, try an aunt, your mother, your mother-in-law. You will be surprised and delighted that you like it, and ready to part with it, especially if it fashion jewelry.
